more about me
Hi, I’m Ashlee. I am a 21-year-old student originally from the Greater Boston Area. I am a junior attending Fordham University at Lincoln Center in New York City studying Communications & Media Studies with a Marketing Minor. I have always considered myself to be a creative person, with passions for design and photography since a young age. In my professional experience I have found a love for the entertainment industry, and I feel that studying in the communications field combines all of my passions into a collective program.
I have held internships focused in marketing and social media at a local marketing and graphic design company outside of Boston, Arch Creative Group. During my time there, I was able to gain relevant experience in digital media and assist in a production shoot for a clients’ product shots. I was also largely involved as Vice President for my former university’s Advertising Team where I was an integral role in the campaigns for the brands we represented, so I have insights as to what it takes to produce a project together as a team. In addition to this, I held the same job for nearly six years, climbing from a cashier to managing the restaurant and its social media, which led me to gain a great drive and work ethic that prepared me for professional roles. I am pursuing opportunities in the entertainment industry focused in marketing, social media, and film & television.
I am originally from a suburban town outside of Boston, but have always enjoyed visiting large cities like New York. I transferred universities in the fall of 2016 and New York City has felt like home. I most of all like living in such a fast-paced environment, and being surrounded by a hub of art and music. I have now held multiple positions within entertainment companies and am seeking full-time opportunities upon graduating in May of 2018. Currently, I am a Production Intern at NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
